The yangtze river basin is a gathering place for the chinese chemical industry. 29 central cities along the yangtze river have 490 industrial parks with different sizes and categories. there are 103 parks dominated by chemical industry. among them, the number of enterprises within 1 kilometer of linjiang increased from 149 in 2000 to 715 in 2017, of which 489 were registered, accounting for 68.4.
